A new culinary adventure, everywhere you go.
Avannaa - The Land of Contrasts

North Greenland is the land of the midnight sun and dogsleds. Here you will find enormous icebergs, some of the fastest glaciers in the world and not least the Ilulissat Ice Fjord, which has, with good reason, been honored with a place on the UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites.

In summer the sun never sets in North Greenland, and the sea and fjords invite you for some fantastic sailing with plenty of seals and whales to see. In winter dogsleds whiz through the white landscape. Even today the dogsled is still an important means of transport in the far north when hunters go out on the ice to fish for Greenlandic halibut in the icy waters.
